5.5.1 new client install asks for upgrade?

We had this for a little bit, when we were running the 5.5.1 client with the 5.5 (shipping) agents. When we moved over to the 5.5.1 agents, it went away. That doesn't help you much though, I'm sure...

Hey Matt - have you heard of the address books wanting to be updated about every other time you load 5.5.1? It's not every single time, so I'm not sure what's going on, but I get told a couple of times a week to wait while my address books are updated to 5.5 format!

Couple of things I'd would look at. I'm assuming this is a
Client/Server installation. If so, give them access to the software
directory, via a mapped drive and allow them to go in direct at least
once. Apparently Novell is aware of this issue and is working on a
solution. They'd like to offer a Client/Server/IP way of installing
the software. I know it's on their plate to do in the near future.

After doing a complete local installation of GW v5.5.1 to a workstation
(that's never had GW 5 on it whatsoever), users continually get told
"There is new software available, however it is not available to you at
this time..." when starting GW... Given that I've only ever had 5.5sp1
installed (coming from 4.1a), how is this possible? Is there a registry
entry or INI setting that needs to be tweaked to prevent this message?

Thanks!

Mike
