[ngw] odd signature thing

I have a new user who put her e-mail in her signature. It looks right in the signature dialog box, but when it actually applies and sends, it looks like this:
first.last at domain.com <mailto:first.last at domain.com>
 
Mine looks exactly the same, but it come through right without the mailto link.
 
She's on 7.0.x and I'm on 8.0x client version. Anybody have suggestions?
