Yes, you did see this. At one point last year Novell hanged the OES2
EULA to allow precisely this.  I remember getting e-mails from both a
partner and my Novell rep about the changes which was going to drive
down the cost of our renewal by not needing as many SLES
subscriptions.  Back on 9/22 Lucky Mercer, our Novell rep at the time,
confirmed this.  We also received an e-mail blast from Novell at that
time which announced this.  Unfortunately I don't believe I've saved
that email.

At any rate, while the change to the EULA was met with great fanfare
to let everyone know about the increased value proposition of OES2,
since then Novell has changed the EULA once again to not allow this
usage.  And unlike the last change this one was done silently.
