and while you're at it, why not configure the mailbox to autodelete mails older than N days (once you can get in..)

Perhaps a gwcheck for just that account?  Action = Expire/Reduce, choose expire _and_ reduce, and expire items older than 60 days?  Assuming you didn't get your 41,000 faxes in the last 60 days....
