First make some coffee,

then migrate to GW8 (piece of cake, or if you like get the Caledonia guides
to Upgrade - http://www.caledonia.net/gw8upg.html,, to Move -
http://www.caledonia.net/gwmove.html)

then make the move to VM's.

Don't forget tot actually drink the coffee ;-)
