[ngw] Shared Address Book

Does anyone know if there is a limit to either the number of addresses one can have in an address book or the number of people that can share the address book?
 
We are looking at the possibility of creating a shared address book that all faculty/staff will have access to.  This would mean about 500 users sharing one address book.  All but a handful of those people would be read only.  The address book may contain up to 1500 external email addresses.
 
Does anyone know of an issue or have experience with kind of a setup?
