[ngw] Help with iPhone config and the syncer

Has any got any tips on configuring the iPhone for using the data syncer?  Nothing I do works.  I assume that it uses a default IMAP port set.  I get a failure during setup.  
 
On top of that, though the account has been saved when I enter Mail it acts as if the account doesn't exist but when I try to set up a new one from the Mail screen it tells me I'm only allowed one Exchange account.  And to make matters worse, my iTunes program insists that the short cut is only valid for already installed products.
