[ngw] What next for GW8 migration?

Depends on what you are planning on doing. If you are used to managing GW from your Workstation (Windows) and already using the Novell Client, then usually people recommend you go with OES. Then you can either use NSS and mount the domain or use a Linux FS (Ext3, ReiserFS, etc) and use ncpcon to also mount as NSS to connect through via Novell Client. If you have no problem managing the GW system from the server itself then you can go with SLES10/11, which means less configuration on the sever side.
There is really no "right" answer as some would prefer that it runs on SLES others would say running it on OES is better. It personally took me the better part of a year to decide... in the end I went with OES to utilize NCS for failover support (guess I should've mentioned that above).
