[ngw] [OT] What other crazy things do folks do on the list?

I do day hikes with a local group of friends.

I just got a pair of the Vibram Five Finger shoes, so I'm not going barefoot
but close to it.  Working on the Couch to 5K program, but I am signed up for
a one day 28 mile hike in september.
  Reading the born to run book too.

I fly RC Planes when the weather is nice.

I'm a certified water safety instructor for the american red cross.
  I'm going to renew my ARC lifeguard / first aid / cpr certs at the end of
the month.

Going to take a wilderness first responder course next month, for a
certification as well.
  its a what to do when 911 isn't an option class.
