Um, there are a number of applications for internal SMTP access to the  
GWIA. 'Non integrated' applications that need email access, monitoring  
software, backup notifications, printers and other infrastructure  
devices to send critical event messages. Of course, that is a small  
subset and you can allow SMTP from JUST those addresses identified.
