I installed it just fine but it won't recognize the optical drive (on a ServersDirect server) when creating a new VM.  It saw my new SAN just fine though which is the best part!
 
I downloaded 3.5 update 5 just the other day.  If it's been pulled just let me know and I'll make the iso public for you to d/l from me.

Has anyone gotten ESXi 4.0 to install on "non approved" hardware?
(Dell customized, specifically)

Anyone know where to get ESXi 3.5 (for some 32 bit machines I have)?
Seems to have gone missing from vmware site.  First, tho, is there a
sufficient performance increase in 3.5, over vmware server 2.0 to
bother?
