[ngw] GW8 and Messenger

Either uncheck the box in GroupWise to start Messenger (Tools|Options|Environment|Launch Messenger at startup) or uncheck the box in Messenger for it to start up on Windows start up.
 
I agree that it shouldn't work that way, but having both boxes checked tells Messenger to try to load twice.  Uncheck one and problem solved, bug or no bug.

Yesterday, I was playing around with silent installs of GW Messenger 2.04. I previously had 2.03 installed manually and everything was working fine. I have always had the Launch Messenger on Startup option enabled and there has never been any confusion. But now, GroupWise has gotten stupid and opens a second instance of Messenger if it is already running.
 
Any ideas before I open an SR? Client is 8.01 1/8/10.
