[ngw] client/archive error

I ended up fixing it by finding and deleting the local copy of his mailbox he'd created with "Hit the Road", which got rid of the error, then did a new sync to build a fresh one. I'll file this registry tip away for future reference, too.

Try this before doing any gwchecks: 
 
Go to registry - HKEY Current User (or HKEY LM) \Software\Novell\GroupWise\Client\Database Rebuilds
Delete all file locations from that area.
I've seen this error go away and not come back after removing the above.

No, but he does use "hit the road" and work in Remote mode sometimes. I'll try deleting that copy and see if that helps. He may also have an archive somewhere local on the laptop that I can find, move, and standalone GWcheck.
 
Unfortunately he's in a closed door meeting at the moment so it'll have to wait for a bit, and he does have WebAccess in the meantime. Thanks for the suggestions.
