[ngw] Strange Webaccess 8 login issue (becoming widespread)

This sounds familiar.  Have you tried reset preferences via GWCheck?

Yes.  Many times.  We have run maintenance on the domain, on the user's mailboxes, etc.  When logging in diagnostic mode, the only info for a user having the issue is 
server thread is processing a request...
<user>    Login
server thread finished servicing client

The difference with a user that is working is that after it shows login, then shows list folders, open folder of incoming messages, etc.....if that helps at all.

Have you tried restarting Webaccess?
