[ngw] GroupWise 8.01 HP1 on Windows 2008 VMs

I spoke to Novell GroupWise folks yesterday about two separate issues and they asked me the same question as a side note - how many users do you have on your post offices?  They seemed to indicate that ~500 active users is about the maximum you want in our configuration.
 
For those of you running Windows 2008 GroupWise Post Offices, 
 
how many total users per post office
 
how many active users per post office
 
What is the hardware behind the Post Office?  
 
How much RAM?  
 
How many CPUs and what speed?  
 
Any precautions?
 
 
We chose Windows over SLES due to our lack of skillset here in SLES and our overwhelming available Windows Admins (though GroupWise runs by itself...)
