Thanks Gert,
Sorry, but what do you mean by moving the item? If you mean moving item to another post office, it can't be done because we only one post office.
C1 is 1.3.6 for Linux and GroupWise snapins are version 6.5.4. I run C1 from the server that holds Primary Domain.

Move the item?
Try a fresh install of C1 with the right snapins.
Use JRBtools.
Get a cup of coffee.

Thanks Gert,
Syncing did not help. When I select the object in NDS View and choose GroupWise Utilities-> GW / eDirectory Association -> Disassociate GropWise Attributes is grayed out.
Link config is OK, I checked that by looking each MTA's link status in http-monitor.

try disconnecting GW attributes and then do a graft
or even first sync the item
check the link config for all open connections between MTA's first otherwise a sync does not work
for doing a restore with a specific FID see my tip from 2005:

don't forget to list the users that have access or proxy access
when doing a rebuild of a dom connect to the prim then tell C1 to store the rebuilt file to a local path then later stop the POA and copy the rebuilt one over the existing one (or rename the old one for backup)

Before doing anything, check link configuration and for pending operations,
connected to all domains.
Where these objects created when C1 was connected to the Secondary? Or
is that too far in the past to know?
If there are no pending operations and links "look good", you might
try making a
backup of the primary and simply do a rebuild of the primary.
I may not have thought this thru completely, or fully understood your issue.
