[ngw] GMS2 on SLES 10 sp1

I'm in the process of installing GMS2 (2.0.3) on SLES 10 SP1...
Several steps into the install, on a fresh SLES 10 SP1 Server, I'm at
the point of "Creating DB Tables..." and the process seems to be at a
stand-still.
Been more than 30 minutes without progress...

Anyone else seen this?
Is there a fix or work-around??
