I repeat....GW At Home is not a solution for you, since you'll not be able to open the archive, due to a missing FID

Thank you all for responding.
The solution can be GW @ home ( mailto:GW at home ), but also something else: the external party has left our organisation, and are not running GW anymore.
I think I create 1 big mailbox and copy (by archive / fideditor /de-archive) all mail into 1 mailbox.
I just hope that GW @ home can handle 64 GB.

The GW @ Home solution use the client in remote mode, and is NOT a solution for this situation, since the GW @ Home solution is running without a GW account, and as such, doesn't have a valid FID.
I would go with Advansys or Nexus here

And if the user already has an archive he can keep it with the caching database. The caching is just a copy of the live mbox. The archive is accessible from the client.
Perhaps some people from GroupWise @ Home want to shed a light on this. Their install comes close to a caching database that you take with you.
BTW Isn't the caching solution as old as the Hit the road there was with GW 5 and 6 ?
