OK...OES11 SP1 was just recently released and I find myself in bad habits of getting used to saying one thing and it's changed :)...so here goes for a 3rd time :).

OES2 SP3 sits on top of SLES10 SP4 http://www.novell.com/documentation/oes2/oes_implement_lx/data/welcome-2-oes2.html

OES11 SP1 is the latest version which sits on top of SLES11 SP2 but it is 64 bit (OES11 sits on top of SLES11 SP1)

Typo...For OES11 SP1, it should state "sits on" not "based on'

Thank you for the replies.

Apparently we will be going to SLES10 OES2

lack of a better description (or knowledge on my part) ...OES2 sits on top of SLES10 (or runs within SLES10) (so to speak) ..correct ?

Thank you again to all.
Neil

OES is the replacement for NetWare.
SLES is pure Linux.
SLES is LESS than OES IMO ...
