HI Thomas,
Thanx ... so you say no Independent? , not for OS nor for gw data
disk?... not planning to restore VM, but one never knows right, but i
can't think it will be days before i restore if i ever do?.. but will
this always be an issue even few hours donw the line
That's why i wondered because i see that for Independant - Persistent
disk changes are immediate and written to disk, and they are not
effected by snaphosts?..
I want to have this right, don't want to hear afterwards...oooooo shoot
you should have done this or that on the disks...
10% on the read cache .. so on my 1.2tb po data disk i do 120gb?...
Kind Regards,

Hi Thys,
>1. Disks should i do "Independent" / "Independent -Persistent" or
"Independent - Non-Persistent" .. sorry about this i just want to be
sure .. heard horrible things about snaphosts and edir
do not do any Independent, but i would not put e eDir replica on this
servers if you plan to restore the VM from days ago.
>2. Then also it talks about "Sharing"? ... "no=sharing" or
"multi-writer" or " unspecified" this is all new.. remember this is
in
a vSAN all flash setup for storage..if it matters....
No sharing, if you do not want to build a OES cluster whithin Vmware
>3. "Virtual flash read Cache"? .. do i enable? and how big do i make
this? 4Gb 8GB 10 or nothing?..
yes, enable, i configure 10% of the actual data on the VMdisk.
Best regards
Thomas
