Have same problem ( ZENWorks 2017 agents ).
On other hand 3.0.101-100.1 has huge problems with XFS, after update to
that kernel I got totally corrupted root file system. Maybe safest
kernel is 3.0.101-97 :)

FYI, the latest SLES11SP4 kernel update, 3.0.101-104.2, seems to
severely break JVM applications. Specifically, novell-zenworks-xplatzmd
doesn't start properly, and will continue to retry while dumping
hs_err_pidXXX.log files in / and /tmp as well as writing to the log file
in /var/opt/novell/zenworks/, until such time as the partition(s) are
full.

Reverting to the previous 3.0.101-100.1 kernel resolves the issue, for
now.

Saw a similar issue with java-based HP SIM which also failed to start
with the newer kernel, but it didn't have the same behavior with the
excessive retries and log files.
