[ngw] GroupWise and appointment return notifications

This was an issue in earlier versions of GroupWise. I complained quite loudly about it and they fixed it. I'm not sure why it would be doing it again unless Google is doing something odd. I haven't had any reports of it here and I'm still running GroupWise 2014 R2 and SMG. It may take an SR to figure out what is going on...unless someone else has also run into it recently.

We have a user that is receiving complaints from a client that when the client send a reoccurring appointment to him and he accepts (within his GroupWise desktop application), the client receives a separate email for each instance of the appointment and it is weekly for months, so a lot of return notifications. We have seen this behavior when a user accepts an appointment on an Apple device, but that is not the case here.

We have in place GroupWise 2014 R2 (with SMG checking both incoming and outgoing). The sender appears to be using Google as their email service.

Is this something at our end? If not, what can we suggest to resolve the problem?

Thanks in advance!
