[ngw] [External] GW18 Search

I'm pretty sure this was a design change.  I don't recall if it was a GroupWise 14 or 18 thing.  There's the field in the upper right corner (has a magnifying glass) that searches only Subject and Name (and maybe date).  It's tool tip text indicates that it only searches the current folder.

Then there's the other search which is invoked with Ctrl-F (for Find) and the other magnifying glass icon on the toolbar.  The one on the toolbar has a tool tip that says "Find in GroupWise".  This one does the classic find where everything is searched.

I have had a strange query pop up from a customer. They're on 18.2

For some reason, when they do a search using the search bar, it only find message that meet the criteria from within the subject line, not the body of the email. For example, in the body of the email, there might be the word "Tote" and another email might have "Tote" in the subject line. A search on Tote will only yield the email with Tote in the Subject Line.

I re‑indexed the mailbox, but no change. But all users have the same issue. Quickfinder Index is ticked on the POA.

Is there a simple switch somewhere else I might have missed?
