is there a way to stop / restart quickfinder without unloading GW ?

disabling / saving / re-enabling / saving in GWadmin doesn't help
or changing concurrent events

A little more info from me

quickfinder always seems to be running...

quickfinder status shows this after restarting GW (domain/pO)
regular quickfinder schedule + manual run (sometimes)

sometimes it just shows this (even with a manual run going)

Diagnostic - seems to be needed for delete/recreating a users indexes
only appears in diagnostics logging enabled

in verbose mode

this is our quickfinder schedule currently

Diagnostic mode is not necessary. Put it in verbose. Then on the POA agent logs, put "Quickfinder" in the filter box and search.. It will then only show you results that mach "quickfinder" and I'm guessing you'll have more clarity on what is happening. You should see soemthing like this:

Also besides the logs, on the main status page at the very bottom there is a status for Indxing and one for database maintenance. Are those listed as running? Or do they show idle?

It seems after the upgrade to 2018 our quickfinder seems to be running and putting a load on the server
but when looking at the logs in diagnostic mode - to see quickfinder updateing - it shows nothing
no indexing is happening

after a restart of the POA last night

only way to stop it is by restarting GW
but then it starts again on schedule and does nothing...

we can manually go in and delete indexs and rebuild for a user (before the schedule can start)
so quickfinder does work

thanks Joe
